Route information
This is a 7hr Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 5km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7km) and you can run as many or as few of these laps as you wish in the 7hr time limit which starts from the official event start time. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra.
The course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. The course is over mixed terrain, with approximately 60% of it on a well-made path / tarmac. The remainder is grass and light trail which can get muddy at certain times of the year. Road shoes can be used all year round but if you prefer the extra grip on the trail sections then trail shoes can be worn.

There is some limited free parking in streets near to the venue. Alternatively, there are plenty of public car parking spaces nearby. You can also often find much cheaper parking if you arrange parking online.

Race Packs
Final race day instructions will be sent out via email 4-5 days prior to the event with full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event.
Distance Pins
Distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement.
Facilities
There are toilets and changing facilities available at race HQ. There will be somewhere you can leave your bag, however this is not a secure bag drop.
