Route information
The Season Finale Triathlon is the perfect way to finish the summer with a bang. Dorney Lake is an iconic Olympic Venue that boasts clean, calm waters for the swim and flat, fast, closed roads for the bike and run. With a variety of distances on offer this event has something for triathletes of all abilities, and with the renowned electric atmosphere it will be a day to remember.
More experienced athletes can choose from Sprint or Olympic Distance triathlons, or the Duathlon. While those who are newer to the sport can choose from the Novice Triathlon and the First Timers' Triathlon. To make this a day for the whole family there is a pre-event Scootathlon for children ages 4 - 8 years and a Kids Triathlon to finish the day off for children ages 11 and over.
This unique Scootathlon gets kids on their scooters for the first leg of the race, then biking, and finishing with a run.

Dorney Lake is situated just south of Maidenhead and Slough and can be easily accessed from Junction 7 of the M4.
Parking
There will be plenty of free parking available on-site.
By Train
The main train stations for the Lake are Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside. It is also near Burnham, Taplow and Maidenhead.

Start waves are split according to distance, gender and age, unless you select the mates wave at registration. Please check your confirmation email to confirm which distance and wave you have entered.
Although these are unlikely to change, the times are subject to adjustments closer to the event date.
Transition
The earliest you'll be able to go into transition will be 1 hour before your start time.
Age Restrictions
Participants must be 15 or over to take part in the First Timers' Triathlon, the Novice Triathlon, the Sprint Triathlon or the Duathlon. While they must be 17 or over to take part in the Olympic Triathlon.
Children must be between the ages of 4 and 8 to take part in the Scootathlon, and between the ages of 11 and 18 for the Kid's Triathlon.
Registration
You must arrive at least 1 hour before your start time, so please allow plenty of time to get to the venue. There will be a 20 minute walk from the car park to the race site.
There will not be a registration tent this year. Race Packs, including your disposable timing chip, will be posted out to you prior to the event and there won’t be anything to collect on race day. Please note that your timing chip number and your race number will not match one another. This is not anything to worry about.
You race pack will include:
- Race numbers
- Numbered wristband for transition
- Sticky numbers for your helmet and bike
- Timing chip
Mandatory Kit
- Bike and helmet
- Wetsuits (dependent on water temperature)
- Scooter, bike and helmet for Scootathlon
Event Information
All participants will receive emails with all the information you need. You will receive these emails 1 month before the event and 3 days before the event.
British Triathlon Federation Membership
If you are an affiliated BTF Member, please bring your race licence, if you are not a member, you will be required to pay £6 for a day membership (£3 for under 18s).
Bike Hire
