Route description
Route description
Both the 12k and half marathon start and finish at race HQ at Perth y Pia.
12k
This course starts by taking runners out through the village of Llanbedr, passing the church and then heading up the trails towards the Henbant climb. After reaching the summit of Crugmawr, runners will descend down the scenic trails towards Vale of Grwyney. There'll be one last climb runners will have to tackle towards Table Mountain before a fast and steep descent to the finish.
Half Marathon
The half marathon route starts out the same as the 12k - running through the villaege of Llanbedr and following the trails that lead to the climb of Hebant to the Crugmawr summit. Then those doing the half marathon will descend down the beautiful valley of Partrishow and follow the Beacons Way towards the forest and Cadwgan. Once passed through the Mynydd Du Forest, runners will be greeting with amazing views of the Black Mountains. There'll be a final ascent towards Table Mountain before runners speed down to the finish at Perth y Pia.

Cut-off Times
There will be a cut-off time of 4 hours for the 12k and a cut-off time of 6 hours for the half marathon.
Mandatory Kit List
A full mandatory kit check will be taken at registration and checks will be carried out during the event. Please bring the following items:
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Race vest/pack
- Baselayer top - must be synthetic or mineral wool
- Capacity to carry 2 litres of fluid
- Emergency Food for the duration
- GPX file downloaded or map
- Fully Charged Mobile Phone + back up
- Hat & gloves
- Trail shoes
- First aid kit
- Foil blanket
- Reusable cup
- Head torch & spare batteries
- Whistle
- Hand sanitiser, face mask & gloves
- Spare socks (suggested)
If you do not have the full kit, you will not be allowed to participate.
Refuel Zone
There will be two refuel zones on the courses stocked with lots of food and drink to fuel you throughout the day. The organisers cater for vegans too. Expect lots of fantastic goodies including nuts, fruits, crisps, electrolytes and more!
On Site Facilities
There will be an event hub at the start/ finish line. Here there'll be the refuel zone, toilets and bag drop.
Age Requirements
You'll need to be aged 17 or over on event day to take part in the Tenacious Ten Hour Endurance Challenge.

There will be parking but it will be limited so please consider car sharing. Parking tickets will go into a ballot, the winning ticket will receive a free entry to the next Limitless Trails event.
Camping
There will be the option to camp on site. The site will be open on Friday afternoon to welcome campers.
