Loved the part in the park, a bit tedious the second half of the run outside the park - hard on the feet…

Really great day for it - lovely route around Kew and along the river, river path is a little bit small and there weren't enough toilets at the start so huge queues, but in generally really great race and got my PB

Please please make sure the course route is properly marshalled - we ran about an extra 300m in the first kilometre which is a apretty major annoyance!! Otherwise it was well organised and a beautiful route :) thanks!

First part of the route in Kew Gardens was lovely. However, the second half was on a very narrow river path. Uneven / stony surface meant many runners were tripping over, and the lack of space caused problems with overtaking. Not one for a PB.Additionally, there were no where near enough toilets - many runners (including myself) missed their wave start because of queuing. Crowd was good and it was nice running through Richmond. Overall could have been better.

Unacceptable wrong turn was taken for wave 1 which added ~400m onto total distance (and a section over grass). Nice first half thru the gardens, fun route and atmosphere. But the river path is indeed slightly congested and rough surface. Not enough toilets. Good overall, but a couple of issues ruined it slightly.

A group of us at the beginning ran the wrong way and added on 450m to the race which was annoying as I had been training to beat a PB

The first half of the course through Kew Gardens was glorious, but the second half through Richmond was on a cramped dirt trail.

No pacers were visible! Start - no indication of runners grouped by expected finish time, result faster runners jostling with slower runners. Finish area very crowded. Not enough toilets for over 3500 runners, double the number needed. Baggage facility good. Note: Ealing half.
