Love this low key but well organised monthly 5k.

As a regular at this race, I don't think I need any tips!

February 2018 was my first time running this race and it was a great experience. Well organised, super competitive and all during a lunchtime!

Great event. I waned a competitive, fast event and I was recommended this by a friend. A great, fast course and plenty of people to drive you on to a good time.

I loved it! Its great to run around Hyde Park and there's plenty of tourists to cheer you on! I had everything I needed to know before the race and just wore trainers. Course wasn't quite as flat as I thought it would be, but I wouldn't describe it as hilly. I think its a high standard race, very different from Parkrun. Lots of very fast club runners and a cut off time of 35 minutes I think. Having said that, I didn't feel in anyway undervalued as a slower runner and it was a very friendly atmosphere.

A fast but not completely flat course. Lots of club runners and 'masters'. During school holidays you may need to occasionally dodge the odd tourist on the paths.

LFOTM is one of the best races in the calendar. And it's only 2 pounds if you pay by cheque. Which, somehow, also adds to the appeal.

A better 5k than the usual parkrun
