This course is set one of the most beautiful locations, the beautiful North Yorkshire village of Settle. The beautiful hills of North Yorkshire offer the perfect distraction as you run on this undulating road out towards Austwick and back.
The roads will be open so beware of any traffic, however, there will be marshals out and the roads will be rather quiet so you will have the perfect opportunity to run freely.

The course was excellent. At registration had no number ready. For price of entry thought it very poor that there was no vet prizes

Lovely course but a long queue for race numbers at start- I don’t know they weren’t posted out before to prevent this. Also limited toilet facilities.

A tough course with relentless hills. The scenery was absolutely stunning. Lots of vegan snacks at end, and the best thing, a beer. I’ll be back

I have been running races for 40 years & this race was an example of a lot of todays races. A company who’s main aim is to make money, put on 3 races at the same time & so make none of the races seem like the main event The best races are organised by running clubs who care about making the race a great experience for the runners Big queue to pick up numbers as they had no details of some entries, meaning the races stared late.The organiser asking at the start ‘“you all got a number now”To be fair the race is held in scenic surroundings & the road surface was good, very hilly though.

The course is really good. Not a PB course but perfect to be out and test yourself or use the course as part of training. (Like I sure this race as part of training for London Marathon.) I would recommend the race and the course.

Very poor communication had to email twice for information.Long queue to collect your number. When I gave my name in I wasn’t on the list. I entered the event in January! Had to give details in to get a number. Long queue for the toilets at the swimming pool who didn’t even know the event was on ! Portable loos failed to turn up. Several people missed the start due to the queue to collect your number. Was amazed that i actually got a chipped time as everything else was a joke. Roads were still open to traffic that didn’t even slow down for runners! Never again!
