Route information
The Shropshire Santa Run takes place on fully-closed roads in Oswestry. The route starts and finishes in the high street and will be full of music and flags. There is a generous race cut off time to allow everyone to get back into Church Street, before the public roads are re-opened.

There are two car parks which are close to the event site:
- Bailey Head car park SY11 1PZ
- Salop Rd Central Car Park SY11 2NR
The organisers advise entrants to park on the outskirts of town and walk to the event.

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 11 and older to enter this event.
Santa Costumes
Santa costumes and race pack will be available for collection on the day of the event.
Cut-off Time
There will be a 70-minute cut-off in place at the event. Roads will reopen in line with this and runners falling behind this time will be asked to stop.
Toilets
There will be toilets available in the public park, and extra toilets will be placed in the walkway next to the start.
Para-Athletes
Participants with disabilities should contact the event organiser at hello@adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk to discuss their needs.
There is not a dedicated wheelchair race at the event, but accompanied wheelchairs, visually impaired and learning disabled athletes are welcome. Entrants are asked to choose their start position with care, typically the back of the race is the safest.
Wheelchair users are advised that there are some speed bumps on the course.
If an athlete needs a carer or guide to accompany them during the race, the carer is entitled to a free place in the race. To apply for this, or if you have any questions about the suitability of the route, contact Alan Lewis at hello@adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk

Entry on the day will be available at the event, subject to availability. Please leave enough time for this when arriving.
Spectator Info
Spectators are encouraged to watch the event from the start and finish on Church Street.

Since the race is run along fully closed roads, headphones are permitted, however it is recommended that entrants keep the volume low so as to hear the marshals and their surroundings.
