Route information
There are several variants for each course. The following courses are the base routes but they may adjust slightly on the day to account for the conditions and ranger requests.
This looped route is 3.7-4.4 miles in length. 95% of this course will be made up of trails.
The course follows the trails and footpaths of the Ranscombe Farm Reserve, offering a variety of single track woodland trails, open fields and rolling grassland. There is an ancient avenue lined on each side with large hornbeam trees. On a spring day of May there will be an abundance of flora and fauna to look out for.
