Route information
This incredible challenge will immerse you in Snowdonia National Park, with both 50 and 100 mile routes to choose from. Starting from Betws-y-Coed, the two routes take in some of Snowdonia's beautiful mountain trails, so you can expect incredible views as you run.
Both routes start from the Village Green in Betws-y-Coed. The 50 mile route follows the Snowdonia Slate Trail past Swallow Falls to the foot of the Eryri mountains, taking on some of the toughest terrain in Wales!
The 100 Mile route is the same as the 50 mile for the first half and leaves Betws-y-Coed (where the 50 mile route finishes) and heads to Beddgelert via the Snowdonia Slate Trail. Runners will leave the trail for ascents of Cnicht (689m) before heading through Nant Gwynant Valley, passing Sygun Copper Mine, Llyn Dinas and Llyn Gwynant. Runners then finish the race with the ascent of Moel Siabod. There'll be 5483m of ascent.
