Hi there. Due to the weather warning's and expected rough sea conditions the swim has been cancelled for all events. the event will still go ahead as a run - bike - run format. For the sprint relay triathlon the swim has changed to a 2.5km run. After the first run you will be directed into the cycle transition area, the race will then continue as normal. Please check the link for further information https://www.uktriathlon.co.uk/events/south-coast-triathlon

Hi there. We are extremely sorry that you have not received an email with all the information you need. Registration on Saturday starts at 7:45am and as you are doing the Sprint relay event which starts at 10:30 it would be best to arrive before 9:30 which will give you time to register and sort out your transition zone. At the registration you will receive a Mornflake draw-string bag and a race envelope with all the necessities you need for the event! :)

Frustratingly, the weather forecast is looking very windy for Saturday, is it likely that all or part of the sprint triathlon will be cancelled? Thanks, Anna

Hi there. The organisers are constantly checking the weather updates and currently the wind forecast is very similar to last year's event. Last year the swim had to be cancelled, as it is 99% likely to be this year and replaced with a short run but the event still went ahead with the run - bike - run format.
