Route information
With an open water sea swim to start participants off, they will complete a loop in the water, with Olympic participants completing the full loop twice and all other participants looping back around at different points depending on their chosen distance.
Next participants will run up and back along the 2.5k scenic promenade run, with Super Sprint and Fun competitors completing 1 loop, Sprint participants completing 2 loops, and Olympic competitors completing 4 loops.
The bike course is nice and flat to finish and will take you up and down the seafront. Olympic participants will complete the course 12 times, Sprint participants 6 times, and Super Sprint and Fun participants 3 times.

There will be parking at the event which will be managed by The Rotary Club of Seaford for a donation charge of £3, which goes to local charities.

It is recommended that participants arrive at least an hour before their start time.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be the following ages to participate in each event:
  • Fun & Relay, Super Sprint, Sprint & Sprint Relay - 15 years old
  • Olympic Relay - 16 years old
  • Olympic Individuals - 17 years old
Race Packs
All race day information, including bib numbers, will be emailed to competitors 7-10 days before the event. Race packs themselves will be available to collect from registration on the day. Each pack will include

  • Bike sticker x2
  • Helmet sticker x1
  • Electronic timing chip
Kit List
Wetsuits are mandatory for the Olympic triathlon only. Participants are asked to bring their own swim caps to the event, and if you do not have your own, please ask at registration and one will be provided for you.
All participants must have a bike in road-worthy bike in working order and a helmet. Please use the pre-race service and bike check.

In coordination with British Triathlon Federation rules, no music devices are allowed during the event.

Entrants are asked to bring their own swim caps with them, if they don't have one then they can collect one at registration.
