Route information
This run is the perfect fusion of fitness, fun, and culture as the 12k route takes you through the South London suburbs of Penge, Forest Hill and Dulwich, where you will come across some of London's most incredible street art. Runners can expect to be awestruck by magnificent murals, thought-provoking graffiti, and culturally relevant art produced by world-renowned artists.
This event makes up part of a larger series across a number of dates in February and September. Please note: this is a casual run and not a race. There are two different paces to choose from which are detailed below:
Pace 1: For those comfortable running 12k in sub-11 minute miles
Pace 2: For those comfortable running 12k in 11-13 minute miles
Each speed falls across different dates throughout February and September, so if you can't find the one you're looking for then be sure to check out another date.
The whole run will take between 2.5-3 hours, and will end at Peckham Rye Station. If the 12k distance proves to be too long, there will be a place to tap out at 7k at Forest Hill Station.

The tour will start at Anerley station. There are direct trains from London Bridge or reachable on the London Overground. Alternatively, it is about a 13 minute walk from Crystal Palace station.
The tour will end at Peckham Rye station, which is about a 10 minute journey from London Bridge, and is also on the London Overground.

Please note the pace of this race will be for those that are comfortable running 12km in sub 11 minute miles.
There will be no bag drop available for this run, so please pack light with a small backpack. Remember it is a casual run, not a race, so pack appropriately.

Given this is a guided tour on open roads and pathways it is not suitable for spectators. However, if you have family and friends that would like to join after the race then please feel free to invite them down, or better yet - sign them up too.

I'm not sure if I can make it 12k for the South London Street Art Run, what is the run like?
Please don't be worried about the distance. Not only is the course mostly flat to downhill, but there will be plenty of breaks along the way to catch your breath. If you really feel as though you are unable to make the distance, then there is the option to tap out at 7k.
