The non-competitive are generally for less experienced racers, who are still looking for a fun and fast race but calmer than the competitive races. While the competitive races are for experienced racers who have a British Cycling License.

Did the race in 2021
Well organised and a challenging route for my first long ride. The standard sportive was much more popular so I will consider this rather than the shorter route next time.
