About
Back for its 2nd year is our EPIC pool based sprint triathlon with closed roads for the cycle route. Based at Dunes Splash World, Southport, the 400m swim takes place in the 5 lane 25m pool, the 20km cycle is flat 2 lap closed roads course and the flat 5km run is a single lap around the marine lake. It’s ideal for first timers and we also attract a host of experienced and elite racers. The atmosphere is relaxed and the course is fast, so join us for an EPIC late season sprint!

How to get there
Dunes Splash World, Esplanade, Southport PR8 1RX, UK
Get full directionsAll participants and spectators are encouraged to park on Esplanade Car Park at the Eco Centre from 07:00 on Race Day as it will offer the most convenient access to the venue and will cause least disruption to the residents and businesses of Southport, if arriving before 0700hrs the car park will not be open therefore please use the one of the many local car parks.
Event day logistics
Registration will be open from 6:00 am and takes place in the marquee on Princes Park. For those in Wave 1 (07:00hrs start) you will be prioritised at registration and may move to the front of the queue.
Transition is in the car park at the back of the swimming pool and will be open from 6.00am.
Racking will be numbered. Entries in Wave 1 will again have priority. Entrance and exit to transition will be by race number only, which must match your frame sticker number.

FAQs
What do I need to enter the event?
A roadworthy bike (mountain bikes and hybrids are acceptable) and recognised cycle helmet.You must be medically sound and if you have any history of illness or injury, consult your GP beforehand.You must be 15 years of age in the event year. Anyone under the age of 16 must provide written parental consent at registration on the day of the event.
