Route information
Swim 400 metres (16 lengths)
This 400m swim will be 16 lengths of the 25m indoor Waveney Valley Pool. These closed conditions makes it perfect for all participants looking to achieve a fast time.
Cycle 20 Kilometres
The 20k bike ride will be a single loop on roads, it will be undulating in nature with some twists and turns throughout making it a bit of a challenge. You must follow normal rules of the road and obey all traffic signals and follow directions given by marshals and race officials.
Run 3.2 Kilometres
This 3.2k tun will take you out-and-back with some reasonably tough hills to test your ability. Participants are allowed to walk this section if needed.

This is at Waveney Valley Pool. Parking space will be VERY limited on the day, so it may be necessary to park outside the pool complex. If you do have to park on the verge next to the main road please bear in mind that this area backs onto people's houses so please keep noise to a minimum.
How to get there:
From Norwich
Take the B1332 towards Bungay and Halesworth. Carry on straight through Bungay town centre heading out towards Halesworth on the A144. As you leave Bungay town you will see Waveney Valley Pool on your right.
From Ipswich
Turn off the A12 heading towards Bramfield and Halesworth. Go through Halesworth, taking signposts towards Bungay (A144). Once out of Halesworth town centre, it’s a straight road to Bungay. Just before you reach Bungay town centre you will see Waveney Valley Pool on your left.
From Cambridge
Passing Bury St. Edmunds take the A143 towards Diss. Once Diss has been by-passed head towards Bungay and Beccles. Near Bungay, turn right at a roundabout (A144) heading towards Halesworth. As you are leaving Bungay on the A144 Waveney Valley Pool will be on your right.

Waves of 5 will start every 5 minutes.
Age requirements
Participants must be 15 years of age or older to participate.
Each competitor should choose a space in the Transition area - spaces are not pre-allocated at this event. The transition will close just before the race starts, after which competitors should not enter the area until they are racing.
