About
St Eds' Running Festival returns in 2019, offering 10k, half marathon, full marathon and family fun run routes from Skyliner Sports Centre in the jewell of the crown of Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds!All races will be ARC licensed and we will be applying for a UK Athletics license for all our races. As such our races will adhere to UKA rules and regulations. Courses have been officially measured. All races will be chip timed for fast and accurate results. You will receive a full race briefing ahead of the race - this will include your number.The festival will be raising money for local good causes including Bury Town Pastors. We would encourage you to raise money for them and you can download a sponsorship form to support your efforts once you have entered.

Route information
Abbeycroft Leisure Marathon:
The route will send runners north and then west on Mount Road, before heading south on a footpath through Moreton Hall and passing beneath the A14. At the end of the footpath will be your first (and fifth) water station where you will turn right, and then take a right to head away from the the village of Rushbrooke. Note there will be a diverge point here where the half marathon runners will turn left. After heading down this road you will turn left onto a footpath, which will bring you out in Rushbrooke. You will take a right in the village to head south and then a left to go east into Bradfield St George, where you will pass your second (and sixth) water station. After a right turn a couple of lefts will take you north and then west into Rougham and your third (and seventh) water station. A couple more lefts will take you west into Blackthorpe. After reaching the village you will turn left, heading under the A14 as your travel north into Battlies Green. You take a left onto a footpath running beside the road and pass your fourth (and eighth) water station as your return west to Moreton Hall. You will cross the roundabout and return back down the footpath to complete your second lap. Upon returning the the roundabout for a second time, you will turn left to head back to the Skyiner Sports Centre to finish
Knights Lowe 10k:

Before reaching the village you will turn left, heading under the A14 as your travel north into Battlies Green. You take a left onto a footpath running beside the road and pass your second water station as your return west to Moreton Hall. You cross the roundabout and head south again on the footpath, this time heading right on Skyliner Way to finish
Half Marathon:
The route will send runners north and then west on Mount Road, before heading south on a footpath through Moreton Hall and passing beneath the A14. At the end of the footpath will be your first water station where you will turn right, and then take a left into the village of Rushbrooke. Fun Run
You will complete a short loop on the footpaths of Moreton Hall. All ages welcome - children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times

Registration:
You will collect your number and chip in person. This will be from 3pm to 5pm on the Saturday 26 October and 7am to race start on Sunday 27 October . You must wear your number front facing and have it visible at all times during the race.
