Yes there will be an aid station supplying water and sugary snacks. It will be at the event Base Camp situated at the lap point of the 5.3k course.

This was a really fun event. I've run two Zig Zag races now and I love the atmosphere - everyone is so friendly and there's so much support from the organisers as well as other competitors. The courses are well thought out and honestly, I can't think of a better way if getting into local running events.

Someone moving the sign really spoilt this one for me. Many of us ended up running almost another mile. Not the organisers' fault, I suppose.

I have taken part in organised runs many times over the years from the London Marathon to great eastern runs. We were sent the information for start and registration and were toldThe incorrect place so we were nearly late to our start time having to run to the actual registration tableAll the courses I’ve done before have been open to the runners only with the general public not being able to walk around. The only really negative part of this race was the GP not moving out of the way, families in the pathways and course and some with dogs off leads which really impacted runners having to dodge out of the way. When you are paying for a race it should be marshalled a little better and have the course taped off for the runners

A beautiful place to run despite many laps I still didn’t tire of the scenery! Super friendly runners and marshals and an amazing medal & post massage 😊

I had a fantastic time. I wasn't sure about loop races, I am used to full circuit or partial out/back. This was my first marathon and my first loop race. It was a 5.3K loop and I completed 8 loops for a marathon. Would absolutely recommend this style and ZigZag running.
