St Valentines 30K - Running in Stamford

30 Km

This is the second time I've done this race I have enjoyed it once again. it's really well organised,  with plenty of marshalls  and drink stations along the course, the course is very undulating with lots of lovely views . Just relax and enjoy it. 

Great small local event organised by runners with a softly undulating course not particularly spectator friendly but easy to get to with sufficient parking and facilities 

Good parking & signage. Last 2 years have had good finishers t shirts. Tough course especially when cold, wet and windy.

Perfect for  Spring marathon training. Very undulating so a great challenge. Brilliantly organised and friendly event

On the whole this is a great race, just the one gripe this year is that at water stations there was literally only an inch of water in the cup. By the time I finished I was feeling really quite dehydrated. Pretty sure we're not on a hosepipe ban so no need to be quite so stingy with the refreshments!
