This 10k and Half marathon will head out into Stanhope village before some steep climbs through the moorlands.
In the 10k expect the descent to be demanding and tricky before heading along with the home straight, expect climbs throughout.
In the Half Marathon expect more climbing where you will summit the moorlands. There will be some small single-track trails to follow where you will rejoin the 10k race for the home straight.

Event parking will be in the showground with additional parking located within Stanhope town centre if needed.
Located beside the B6278 road which leads to Eggleston and Teesdale. Access is good for visitors travelling from all directions as Stanhope is located on the cross-roads formed by the intersection of the B6278 and the A689 road.
