Route information
This is a multi-terrain event run mostly on grassy tracks, footpaths and private roads and is expected to be the same as previous years. The 10k course takes you past the stunning Elizabethan Manor House of Moyns Park and into the picturesque village of Birdbrook. A gravel track takes runners back towards Steeple Bumpstead, to follow the course of the Bumpstead Brook. A final short loop is followed by a downhill dash, through the church yard and into the playing fields to the sound of a roaring crowd!
The 3k route starts in the same way as the 10k course, but after approximately 1.5km, the 3k course leaves the 10k course and heads back into the village of Steeple Bumpstead, passing the historic Moot Hall and heads back into the playing fields behind the churchyard.
What's included
Medal for every finisher and trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female in each age group.
