Route information
This 2 day cycle event feature the very best of road and gravel. The road routes will take place on the Saturday, followed by the gravel routes on the Sunday. Take part in both or just one!
Borderlands Road
Struggle are synonymous with gnarley 108 mile routes. For riders keen to take their first pedal strokes at a Struggle, we're pleased to offer a 100k option. The route takes you on a tour of the Yorkshire three peaks and their surrounding road summits including Buttertubs Pass, Fleet Moss and more. There is 9,900ft of ascent in the 108mile route and 5,400ft of ascent in the 100k route.
Borderlands Gravel
Choose between the epic 100km challenging route or get a taste for gravel with the 50km option. Both routes span across both Swaledale and Wensleydale, taking in 360 degree views as you roll over epic ascents. With jaw-clenching climbs and testing terrain, Borderlands is your next test of fitness as you explore beyond the Asphalt. There will be 6,600ft of ascent in the 100k and 950 metres in the 50k.
