2015 was Suffolks year of cycling, the county is becoming ever more rider friendly and has some absolutely stunning countryside and breathtaking costal views.

Three wonderful routes take in a variety of Suffolks best scenery, from forest and coast to quiet countryside lanes. Whether youre a seasoned spinner, or just enjoy cycling on a weekly basis theres a route for you.

Weve decided to start the Suffolk 100 from the countys reigning Most Active Town, Kesgrave. Situated on the edges of Ipswitch, The HQ, Kesgrave Community and Conference Center is not only easily accessible by road and rail but also offers riders virtually traffic free access to the wonderfully quiet country roads this sportive has to offer.

Kit List
All routes are chip timed, and there will be gold, silver or bronze times awarded on the published results after the event. These are for fun and we do not encourage any form of racing.

There are stops on route where you can refill your bottles and tuck into some food to keep you going. You should however bring spare food and drink as the route is rural and may not be near shops.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory. Failing to do so will result in refused entry.
FAQs
We do our best to try and make sure your ride on the road runs as smoothly as possible by marking the roads clearly. If you find you have not seen a marker for a while, stop and consult your map, ask someone, or find a landmark and give us a call using the number provided on the day.

Once you complete the ride, make sure you report back to one of our team at the finish line, we’ll make sure your time is recorded. If you do not report back, you may be presumed lost and emergency services may be called.
