Walk, jog, run, all we ask is that you have fun - and a donation to Prostrate Cancer UK would be much appreciated. The race is held over a super fast, flat all tarmac surface with PB potential, on the first Saturday of every month.

Did the race in 2019

Fantastic local 5k. Well organised a superb atmosphere. Free to enter and all donations go to a local charity! Despite a slightly awkward start, turning through a short sharp woodland patch, the majority of the race covers a flat outward section of tarmac cycle way and is ideal for posting a decent 5k time. There is a sharp turn as you turn back on yourself and continue back towards the start/finish area, so a little momentum may be lost, but this is quickly regained! Well sheltered with trees providing a barrier either side of the cycle way. As the race is on a public cycle way, additional users and cyclists may also use the path, but with corporation from all users, this is rarely an issue. Overall, this is a fantastic event and I would highly recommend! (Just dont forget to drop in a small donation :) ! )

Getting bored of your local ParkRun? Yeah, me too. This race is a perfect step up if youre looking to race or improve your 5k time. The course is a flat(ish) out and back course with plenty of healthy competition along the way. Simple, no nonsense organisation with all proceeds going to charity
