Don your finest superhero costumes and come out to the Margate seaside for a coastal run this summer. You'll have the choice between a 5k or 10k along the promenade or a 1 mile Family Fun Run. All distances will be starting and finishing at Margate FC and support the Kent Association for the Blind.

Route information
Both the 5k and 10k will be out and back routes taking runners along the Margate promenade providing some excellent coastal views and a nice, flat run over even terrain.
The 5k will turn around just before the Barnes car park and the 10k route will go as far as West Bay before turning back and heading to the finish at Margate FC.
The Family Fun Run will be 1 mile long around the Margate FC pitch and the surrounding Hartsdown Park.

Margate train station is under a 15 minute walk from Margate Football Club and the event village. This station has direct links to London Victoria and St Pancras International.

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 15 and older to enter the 10k, and 11 and older to enter the 5k. There are no age requirements for the Fun Run.

All participants are encouraged to come in their best superhero fancy dress.

Yes, there will be toilet facilities on-site.
How old do I have to be to enter the Superhero 5k & 10k?
Entrants must be 11 and older to enter the 5k and 15 and older to enter the 10k. There are no age restrictions for the Family Fun Run.
Will the Superhero 5k & 10k take a hilly or technical course?
No, all distances will take a flat course with even terrain underfoot.
