Route information

Swim
Race 1 begins with a 300m swim in the shallow lake at WCWP - Wetsuits are optional so only requirements are swimsuit or tri suit hat & goggles - Wetsuits are available to hire at WCWP.
Bike
Into transition and onto a 4km bike route on wide roads. No turns just roundabouts - Roadworthy bike & helmet required.
Run
Off the bike and onto a 2 lap run of the lake 1.6km and then back into the water.

Event day logistics

19:00 Race start time
*Please arrive at least 45 minutes before to allow time to rack your bike, register and warm up.
Corporate Entries
Trimax are welcoming corporate team entries from companies interested in entering teams of 3 athletes with great potential exposure to athletes & spectators
BTF Race Rules
This event will be held under British Triathlon Federation Rules;
You must not litter on the course. Keep hold of it until you can dispose properly.
Respect your fellow competitors, technical officials, event organisers, volunteers and spectators.
Know the course by studying race maps.
Have your race number clearly visible from the back during the cycle stage and from the front during the run stage.
MP3 players, mobile phones and personal video recording devices are banned during the race. Please leave outside transition.
Helmets must be clipped before the bike is touched and remain clicked until the bike is racked after the cycle stage.
Drafting is not permitted. You must keep at least a 10 - 12 metre distance between you and the person ahead. You have 20-25 seconds to overtake.
Only bring what is essential into transition. Bulky items may be removed.

Based out of Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean, Trimax Events put on a variety of trail running, road running, and triathlon events throughout the year. Trimax Events are particularly well-regarded for their epic bespoke medals which are awarded to all finisher’s. A number of Trimax events also offer a canicross option, so if you’re looking to race with your canine companion then check out their offering. One of their best known events takes you up Gloucester’s infamous ‘Cheese Rolling Hill’, while a number of their other routes take you through the scenic Cotswold countryside.
