Route information

Swim in the crystal clear waters of Cromhall Lake at this fantastic triathlon returning for 2025! With an undulating cycle route that takes you out onto the edge of the Cotswolds and an out-and-back run route around the lake, this event offers a beautiful, scenic course.

The lake is the perfect place for spectators to watch as you take on the 70.3 or Olympic distance. The 70.3 route features a 1.9k swim, a 90k cycle and a 21k run, whilst the Olympic distance consists of a 1.5k swim, a 45k cycle and a 10k run.

The race HQ is 10 mins from Junction 14 on the M5 between Bristol & Gloucester.

Race Briefing

The race briefing is at 07:30, followed by a 200m walk to the swim start. The life raft will show you the swim route before you enter the water on a shot gun start. (Athletes enter water and gun starts event) for both distances on day.

Kit

Wetsuits will likely be optional. Participants should ensure they have a roadworthy bike and helmet, plus trainers suitable for running.
