Tavistock Triathlon routes

The stunning campus of Mount Kelly College is the venue of this fall triathlon festival.

Their Olympic size 50m pool is the optimal length to get a great rhythm for your stroke, without having to worry about the challenges that open water swimming brings.

After you fish yourself out of the pool, the bike begins through the quiet rolling hills on the grounds of Mount Kelly, offering views of the surrounding 100 acres of countryside and Dartmoor National Park.

The run gives another opportunity for the athletes to be enveloped by the richness of their surroundings, as the path winds its way along the old railway line back to the finish, where you will be cheered on and celebrated as the epic triathlete that you are.

Volunteers

Sportiva Events needs marshals. Ask any event organiser and most will say finding enough is an ongoing struggle. So put something back into the sport you love by helping at an event. It’s generally a fun morning (or afternoon) and competitors always appreciate support from the team of marshals. And as an extra incentive they are happy to pay £20 expenses (or give you free entry to a future event) for anyone who helps out for 2-4 hours. Or they’ll pay up to £60 for anyone able to help for the whole day.

And if you’ve already entered but are injured they’ll defer your place for FREE if you volunteer to marshal & pay you £20 expenses.

Just call or text on 07866 567 894 or fill in the form at https://sportivaevents.co.uk/volunteer-help-marshall/. They’ll add you to their Volunteers list and get in touch a couple of weeks before our next event.
