Route information
The course runs through all 5 of New York's boroughs, and is one of the Big 5 Marathons. It is one of the most scenic marathons in the world, but has a fair amount of elevation thanks to multiple hills and bridges.
The course is clearly marked with mile markers.

Get full directionsStaten Island Ferry
The terminal at Whitehall is served by multiple subway and bus routes. The ferry is free, and will take runners to St George terminal, where there will be further free buses to take them to Fort Wadsworth
Midtown Manhattan Bus
These buses will transport runners directly to Fort Wadsworth from New York Public Library.
New Jersey Bus
Buses will take runners from Metlife Stadium (Lot K) directly to Fort Wadsworth. Please note you won't be able to park here.
Private Vehicles
Drop off is on Lily Pond Avenue. There is no parking available here.
Event day logistics
Race Pack
Runners must collect their race packs in person from the Expo. Please bring a photo ID and your runner confirmation form when collecting your packet.
Bag Drop
Runners are able to check their bag in Central Park (finish line) in the days leading up to the race.
Please note that there will be no bag transfer option available.
Toilets
Portable toilets will are located at every mile starting at mile 3. There will also be wheelchair-accessible toilets available.
