All theTempo events I have participated in have been really well organised. The Tempo Winter Series is fantastic, keeps you focused and fit throughout the winter months. The course is very challenging, over the 5 months you run the route alternate ways. Either way you have a significant hill climb but the view from the top is worth it, stunning!! The best part is you get fresh sausages at the end of each race from a fab local butchers!! Highly recommend this event!

Snowing, wet and slush didn't stop a large group of runners enjoying themselves. Well marshalled throughout. Friendly clubhouse and hot food and drink at good prices. Will definitely run it again

I went steady on my feet due to the snow, love the challenge of the hill & the views are amazing. Marshals do a great job, without them there wouldnt be a race. Grest that tempo remember you by name and cheer you on. Well organised & really enjoy the sausages. Then for a surprise of 1st category

Rainy, snowy and the hill still nearly defeated me; so great!

Race 4 was a cold and snowy event, which made it hard work, running on slush is difficult, and the killer hill magnified that - but a safety car followed behind, there were plenty of marshalls and warnings had been given about particularly treacherous stretches. So it was me against the weather as much as anything.

It's called the Winter Series for a reason and we love it. It's a less of a race and more of a monthly winter training event, with the added bonus of sausages! Always well organised and fantastic race 4 still went ahead where other events would probably have called it off due to a 'bit of weather.' Already looking forward to race5 and the gilet!

I find the clockwise runs on this course tough as the hill kicks in at halfway. Add to this tough weather conditions of snow, hail and slush underfoot and this race became a real slog. Runners were really supportive of each other, and the sense of achievement when you finished was enormous. The prize of sausages was greatly appreciated when I got home.

My first experience of 'The Sausage Run' and the weather wasn't the kindest but what a great race. Marshals were superb. Atmosphere was great - when you get that many nutters together in one space you've got to have a laugh! Would've felt more confident in my trail shoes, rather than near slick NB Boracays, going up and over the hill but stayed upright and beat my target despite the conditions. Already signed up for Round 5 next month. Just need to get my club (Daventry Roadrunners) on my entry details.

This is a great friendly and challenging race. Marshals are always encouraging no matter the weather... and boy have we had some bad weather at these races! Dont matter which way you go round the hills never get any easier !! Sausages from Barry The Butcher - Stratford Upon Avon- at the end of each race as your medal - which is great ! Cake and hot drinks available in the social club and cheap as chips ! Also there is a photographer out in all weathers who puts his photos on Facebook for free! So this is a great value run series!
