As an event organiser, Phoenix Running offers it all. From entry-level 5km events all the way to 50km ultramarathons, Phoenix Running’s events are as inclusive as they come. Phoenix Running founders Louise and Rik are avid runners themselves and have completed a number of impressive feats - North Pole Marathon and Great Wall of China Race to name a couple. Now they impart their vast wealth of experience and burning passion for endurance sports onto their epic events. Phoenix Running operates out of Surrey, with their majority of events taking place in and around Walton-on-Thames - just south-west of London.
Spectators should come to the start/finish area to cheer on their runners. Since it is a lapped course, this is a great spot to watch your runners as they speed past you.
Do I have to run the same distance every day in the Ten in Ten or Twenty in Twenty series?
No, runners can decide on the day how far they wish to run. You will only receive the finisher's t-shirt if you complete a half, full, or ultra on each of the 10 or 20 days.
What refreshments will be served at the aid station in the Ten in Ten or Twenty in Twenty?
There will be water and a collection of various squash flavours for hydration. There will also be a selection of savoury and sweet goodies to keep you fuelled throughout the run.
Is the Ten in Ten & Twenty in Twenty open to runners of all abilities?
Absolutely, the beauty of these events is that you can complete as many or as little laps of the course as you would like, with extremely generous cut off times welcoming you to run, walk, jog, or even dance your way around the course.
This event currently has no reviews, why not be the first? You could help someone find their perfect event.
