A truly epic event. Walk, jog or run up to 100km, 50k, 28 or 22km along England's most iconic and greatest river. This is a special individual and team event which is engulfed in culture, history and quite stunning scenery. This event will definitely test your physical and mental strength.

This race is amazing. Well organized, good course, and volunteers were all amazing. The one thing that was missing was photography. I don't have a single photo from this race, and I'm a bit disappointed by that. The medals were nice, the food was good, and overall, it was a pretty wonderful day.… read more

Full 100km Challenge - Fulham to Henley - Sat 12 Sept | 7-10am

DISTANCE & ELEVATION:
100km / ~350m climb

REST STOPS & MEALS: 9 Stops
• Snacks, water & hot drinks at all
• Late breakfast/lunch at 28km
• Lunch/dinner at 50km
• Dinner/breakfast at 78km
• Dinner/breakfast/lunch at 100km

Full 100km-2 Day (stop overnight) Challenge - Fulham to Henley - D1 - Sat 12 Sept | 7-10am: D2 - Sun 13 Sept | 6-8am

100km / ~350m climb

Second Half Challenge - Runnymede > Henley Sun 8 Sept 6-8am OR ‘join a 100km friend’ between - Sat 12 Sept 5pm – Sun 13 Sept 8am

2nd Quarter Challenge - Hurst Park to Runnymede - Sat 12 Sept | 12pm

3rd Quarter Challenge - Runnymede to Cookham - Sun 13 Sept | 6-8am

Logistics and schedule

Start times:

6:30 am - Runners

7am -10am Walkers/Joggers

Finish location: Henley-on-Thames

Finish times:

Runners - 9 - 16 hrs

Joggers - 16 - 20 hrs

Walkers - 20 - 36 hrs (max time)

Food & Rest Stops: Every 10-15km under marquees with support - including toilets, medics, Massage, changing rooms, rest areas, hot & cold drinks, snacks and much more.

  • 28km - picnic baguette lunch
  • 50km - 3 course hot meal
  • 78km - dinner / cooked breakfast
  • 100km - cooked breakfast / BBQ
  • Glass of fizz, medal & t-shirt!
  • Snacks & drinks every 10-15km

Baggage services: Pay cash on the day - no need to pre-book

Runners - FREE to half way & finish. Walkers/ Joggers - half way & finish* All - straight to finish in Henley*

Spectators

Spectators will be supporting throughout the whole event. Who know's they might give you a snack.

Volunteers

Volunteers are a focal point of all Action Challenge events. As such, they are always on the look-out for more helping hands.

Location - The event will start in Bishops Park, Bishop's Ave, Fulham, London SW6 6EA, UK The start location can be easily reached via the District Line (get off at Putney Bridge).

Getting there & away:

The start is a less than 10 minute walk from Putney Bridge station (district line)

Henley train station is a 5 minute walk from the finish

Shuttles for retirees to the Henley finish
