Did the race in 2022
We received emails confirming an 11am start. Even the DAY BEFORE the event we received an email saying 11am start. Then ON THE DRIVE to the race, we received a text saying it had been changed to 12pm. I was completely disgusted. With the event being changed by an hour my nutrition was completely messed up, nearly DNF'd and had to go to the bathroom during the run. I'm not even a really serious runner, I dare to think how angry the more serious runners were. This was absolutely disgusting - to change the time of the event on the morning of?? I will be seriously hesitant to book any more events with you in the future and will be deterring my friends, unless it can be promised that this will never happen again and explained why this happened.

Good route, although very windy - not the event's fault but anecdotally I've heard it is common here, so not ideal! Got told two start times, right up to the day of the event, which didn't help with prepaeration. Atmosphere lacking as lots of space and not many runners/spectators.

Very few runners. Run time changed from 11am to 12pm after I set off to the venue. Awful head wind for half the entire course.

Limited standard distance athletes. Music for the out and back run would help.Needed more atmosphere at finish after all the shorter distance athletes had gone.

It was a great race and course. I did miss having some sort of post race nutrition (bananas or oranges or biscuits etc.).
