In terms of the course itself, decent gentle hills, lots of flat, so perfect! Very organised start. Easy to park. Easy registration. More distance markers along the way would have been good. Not the prettiest run, but it wouldn't be in that location, and the canal was pleasant. I enjoyed it and glad I did it!

Injured with ruptured quad tendon hence had to pull out a few months prior to the event … attempted to gain a refund & free up a space … however, Runable don’t give refunds regardless of circumstances … I believe it runs on minimum resource and therefore isn’t equipped to be morally correct!

It was the first time I did this race, and the furthest I’ve run for a while, so it was a good introduction to runs longer than parkrun. It was well organised with plenty of marshals around, and good signage. Some of the bits along the roadside were tricky, as the paths were narrow in places, with tree shoots overhanging them. All in all a good race, and one I’d consider doing again.
