The course is flat out and back along the victoria Embankment in Nottingham, there will be great sites to see as the course looks out onto the River Trent. This course is a great opportunity for any runner to achieve a PB.

Parking

There is car parking next to the start line but you will have to pay a small fee.

By Public Transport

Nottingham railway station is just over 3 miles away from the park, but you can travel from the station to the race by bus; take the Ecolink bus to Manor Farm and the start is a short walk away.

The nearest train station to the park is Netherfield, which is roughly 1 mile away. You can either walk or use the Red Line 44 bus to travel from the station to the park (via the New Vale Road stop).

19:00 5k starts

Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race in order to complete the registration process and drop your bags.

The race HQ will be next to the Adventure Centre in Colwick Country Park.

The race will begin at 1900. Please arrive in advance in order to warm up and drop your bag.

How do I attach my race number?

Please attach your race number to the front of your running top or vest using safety pins or clips, securing it on all four corners. Please don’t attach your number to the back of your shirt as it is difficult for our timekeepers and marshals to identify you.
