It was a friendly, very flat 10k through some lovely countryside. I’ve deducted a star from the ‘organisation’ because there were nowhere near enough toilets, plus the few there were - were 10 minute walk away!

The course really was as flat as a pancake and I beat my PB by 3 minutes. The course was pleasant, some nice views and no issues with traffic.

There were a few areas for improvement though. The marshals didn't really engage with the runners. It's really nice to have words of encouragement from them, especially if you really have no energy left towards the end. There was also only one guy at one of the water stations who was filling cups one by one which created a delay. There was no toilet at the end of the run (they had been locked).
    I'll run again next year.
