Hollicom Events, The Jockey Club and Reach are delighted to announce the launch of The Classic Run Series, combining four running events at four world class venues. All of our events will take place on the perimeter roads surrounding the racecourse (not on the grass!).

The Ayr Classic 5 Mile Run routes

The route is composed of a start and finish in front of the famous Ayr grandstand, before taking in two loops of the racecourse itself.

This is an open and flat course, ideal for first time runners and walkers, as well as experienced club runners looking to beat their personal best times.

What’s Included
There are generous cash prizes available for male & female participants who finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each event. Cash prizes are also available for male & female participants competing in the masters category (35+).

    The course was wet , mucky, covered in horse shit , people were getting stuck at various places as feet were getting stuck in places that were like bogs , the tough mudder run was cleaner , it was unhealthy running through horse shit , wether conditions were not that great , in my opinion it should have been postponed
