About
After the success of our first Batty Bimble event last year we will be returning in 2019 to the Hogmor Enclosure. This will once again be a 6 hour timed multi-lap event. Each lap being approximately 3.3 miles. The trail is a compact gravel for part of the way, and sand for the rest. 4 laps for a half marathon, 8 for a marathon, and 19 for an Ultra.Set in what was part of the old Army tank training facilities in Bordon, this has been converted into a nature park, and we are extremely fortunate to be allowed to put host an event there. We run with kind permissions from the MOD, Deadwater Valley Trust, Bordon and Whitehill Regeneration Office and East Hants District Council.

Route information
This is a 6 hour timed multi-lap event. Each lap being approximately 3.1 miles. The trail is a compact gravel for part of the way, and sand for the rest. 5 laps for a half marathon, 9 for a marathon, and 10 for an Ultra. This venue is variable depending on the weather so we do reserve to alter the course slightly and therefore alter lap lengths subject to weather leading up to the event.
At the end of each lap our aid station will be stocked with all the goodies runners like: water, squash, jelly babies, Haribo, crisps and cakes. All the things required to help set you off for another lap or two, or if you prefer you can ring the bell to officially finish your run and collect your medal.
A 6 hour challenge event is a lapped event where entrants complete as many laps as they wish within the 6 hour limit. Complete one lap and your are officially a finisher and receive a medal. You do not have to declare the distance you intend to run when you enter or even on the day, it is down to how you feel on the day. When you want to stop, ring the bell at the end of the lap and your time and distance will be recorded. Only fully completed laps will count towards your distance, partially lap distance will not be included.

What About Aid Station?
The aid station will be well stocked with water and squash to drink. It will also be stocked with goodies runners like for example crisps, haribo (all runners love haribo), cakes, pretzels, biscuits and fudge. We do not supply energy gels or sports drinks, this is because people have their own preferences and we cannot possibly stock all varieties to cater for everyone. You can leave your own supply at the aid station for your own use during the event. We will provide snacks, goodies and fun. Please Note: One lap will get you the medal. We cater for all speeds, and for all distances. So whether you want to push yourself to your first 10km, or to your 100th marathon, all your needs will be looked after.
