Route information
Follow public footpaths out of Fort William and up the Achintee Path to summit the highest mountain in the UK, Ben Nevis at an incredible 4,406ft! Catch your breath and drink in the spectacular views, before heading back down for the bike ride.
At the foot of the mountain, jump on your bike for a tough but beautiful 15-mile route around the hilly terrain of the West Highlands. The cycle route will draw to a close at the picturesque Caledonian Canal.
Here, you will be kitted up with all the kayak equipment needed for an enjoyable 1.5-mile paddle. All entrants will be shown how to use the kayak.
After resting your legs on the kayak you’ll jump back on your bike for another 10-mile ride to the finish line. Once across the finish line with the prosecco flowing, embrace the finisher's euphoria.

Accommodation isn't included in your challenge costs, for an extra £250 you get two nights of hotel accommodation in Fort William, and a two-course dinner on Friday night as well as breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. Registration Fee
Participants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of £79 which is used to secure their place at the event. Entrants will have to pay an extra £195 at least 6 weeks before the challenge.
Age Requirements
- All entrants must be 18 years old or over to take part in this challenge.
Fitness
The challenge is open to all fitness levels, but you must train beforehand. This challenge will be physically demanding, the more you train the more you will enjoy the challenge. No kayaking experience is needed for the challenge.
Bike Hire
Bikes are not included in the challenge, if you will like to arrange bike hire for you at an additional price, please email the organisers at events@dream-challenges.com.
Bike Transport
Your bike and cycling gear will be transported to the foot of the mountain. The organisers will then transport your walking gear back to the challenge base, participants will kayak in their cycling gear.
