The Betteshanger 10 & 5 Mile routes

This 121 hectare site and totally self-contained venue is perfect for a COVID-secure event. Betteshanger Park is the site of former Betteshanger colliery in east Kent, and the tarmac cycle paths means this venue is traffic free.

Both 5 and 10 mile courses are gently undulating and are perfect for first-time or experienced runners alike.

Raceday Logistics

A full set of race instructions will be sent to entrants prior to the event.

08:30: Start line opens

10:00: Start line closes

Participants will start in 3-minute intervals. Groups will be kept to a maximum of 12.

Kit List

Please arrive ready to run as there will be no changing facilities or baggage drop available.

Spectators

Unfortunately due to the current situation spectators are encouraged not to attend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my race number be sent to me or do I need to pick it up on race day?
If you have entered the race in good time then it will be sent to you in the post. If you entered close to race day then you will need to collect your race number on the day of the event. Entries are not available on the day.
Will there be toilets?
Yes, there will be toilets at the start/finish area but it is asked that you take care washing your hands and sanitise regularly.
Is there an age requirement to participate?
Participants must be 15 years of age and over to enter the 5 mile, and 16 years and older to enter the 10 mile.
