The Bushy New Year 10K & 5K routes

This is a mixed-terrain course that takes athletes across hard track, tarmac and some grass. The route weaves throughout the park, taking in the Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club and the Oval Club as well as a number of picturesque woods and lakes on show.

This is a fast and flat race - great for that end of season PB. The course will be clearly marked out and friendly marshals will be on-site to deal with any issues.

This is a lapped course, with the 5KM race completing it once and the 10KM runners doing it twice.

A really well organised event. The perfect start to my 2020 race calendar. Good course the only downside was the wind. Very good bling!

This is a great little local 10k. The organisers were really welcoming, and the marshalls were enthusiastic. Two laps of a 5k course in the pretty setting of Bushy Park. Great little race to kick-off the year.

Good selection of post-race refreshments (incl jelly beans and jaffa cakes) and friendly marshalls. Plenty of parking available.
  • Did the 10K in 2019

Really well organised and enthusiastic supporters on this scenic, flat course. There was a good range of prizes too.

Great event! Very welcoming atmosphere, perfect for all skill levels. Can only hope to see some of the deer next time!

Really great local 10k. It's super friendly, all abilities welcome and everything was super efficient on the day - all on time, decent feed station and good bag drop/ registration etc. On the day registration all worked well and was fine. Worth knowing that the loos and the registration tent aren't next to each other (the loos are in the buildings over to the right) so worth getting there 30 mins before. Course was flat and fast - some of it very beautiful near the finish along the lake. Would definitely do again and really liked the 10am start time so not too early an alarm!

Nice course with mix of park path and tarmac. Friendly marshals and chilled, non-competitive atmosphere.

Great first run of the year having not been on any running tracks in years ! Lovely (brisk) sunday start!
