Ran the bushy park 10k yesterday. No bag drop, after picking up your number you're pointed to the start and told to just 'go when you're ready'. Sadly not many other people taking part aswell, as it was a staggered start (or rather a 'go when you want') I found I was just running alone mainly, I saw maybe 3/4 others along the way but I think in total about 80 people did the 10k the whole day. Along the course I think I counted 4 marshals, none of whom were cheering, encouraging or doing much more than standing beside signs which had arrows anyway. The rest of the course was arrowed and sign posted well so this wasn't a problem, although I did think I shouldn't have paid money and just gone out for a 10k on my own perhaps. The finish was the most disappointing, nobody cheering you in at all - you literally just crossed the finish line where there was a table (no people) with medals on for you to simply take and a water jug and plastic cups. No post run snacks (lets be honest these are the best part hehe) and no race day photographer anywhere on the course. Honestly I felt a bit cheated out of my money, I understand the costs it takes to put on an event like this, but from a participants point of view I could had done all of this on my own and bought a medal for myself lol.

Super well organised, with race number and timing chip sent through the post meaning no need to queue at venue.Course was marked clearly and Marshall's did a terrific job and were very encouraging.Have to say the medal was the best I have seen! Thanks. Looking forward to next event.

I love running in bushy park, when these runs are on I always try and do them. The people are great and its very well organised. The only thing about the run is at the beginning its a bit tight and bumpy. But its all good fun

The only complaint I have is that the race start was very hard to find given the directions provided and where the bus dropped me off. Both myself and another runner spent 25 minutes searching for the place and ended up starting the race 10 minutes late. A single sign on the outside of the park (to the south) would have solved this problem. Other than that... amazing staff and amazing atmosphere as usual :)

Good, flat course, a bit congested at the start though. Having different start times for the 5k and 10k races might help.
