Route information
This course will take runners over mixed terrain through the stunning parklands of Shipley Country Park. Take in your surroundings as you run through the truly historical grounds which once held a stately home, hunting lodge and even a coal mine. Expect to run on a mix of compact gravel paths, roads and fields.
With a total elevation gain of only 80m per loop, this race is suitable for most ability levels, whether the 5.5km is achievement enough or if you want to complete a marathon by doing 8 laps. The 5.5K loop is fully marked with bright yellow arrows so you won't get lost along the way.
Please note that the park is open to other members of the public and the runners do not have right of way.
