Route information
Start and finish in Bute Park. You will be given a map to show you where the checkpoints are that you will walk to. You can take on the 5k, 10k or Half Marathon distances.
Each checkpoint will have drinks, snacks and a Scan in and out system.
Make sure to walk and talk to anyone and everyone that is part of this event as it's super social, friendly and all about meeting likeminded people and helping us talk more about Men's Health.
At the finish you will receive a stunning medal, drinks, snacks and will be entertained by us. Stick around and enjoy this awesome event.

There is no parking within the park. Please be sure to plan your journey to arrive on time and if driving check parking around Bute Park so you are not delayed.
Event day logistics
08:00 Registration opens
09:00 Half Marathon MoWalk starts
10:00 5k and 10k MoWalk starts
Race Packs
Race packs will be collected on the day from the event hub. You will receive your race number, timing chip, safety pins and dedicated headband.
Bag Drop
There will be a bag drop facility available next to the registration tents. It is asked by the event organiser to pack as lightly as possible as space in this bag drop area is extremely limited.
Though this area is manned at all times, it is recommended to leave any valuables at home.
The Fix Events
Fix Events have over a decades worth of experience within the endurance events space, and organise over 70 events per year, varying from running to triathlons to charity events. Their events are well-known for their friendly atmosphere, which makes them great for participants of all abilities and they’re also hosted throughout all of the UK’s major cities - making them easily accessible to everyone. On top of their staple events calendar, the Fix have partnered with charities such as the Movember Foundation, where they delivered over 20 MoRuns throughout the month to thousands of runners.
FAQs
What are the age restrictions for the Cardiff MoWalk?
Children are permitted to run in any of the events, as long as their parent/guardian is confident that they are able to finish the course. Parents/guardians must be responsible for their children at all times. The Mini Mo event is restricted to younger children aged 3-12.
Am I allowed to run the Cardiff MoWalk with my dog?
Dogs are permitted on course, provided they are on leads. Please be aware of your fellow runners and be careful around the course.
Can I run with a buggy during the Cardiff MoWalk?
Yes, buggies are permitted at this event.
