Route description

For this unique challenge you have the choice of where you start, how far you choose to run and how you make your way to other locations. There are 4 starting options for your challenge:

  • Bute Park
  • Cardiff Bay
  • Hailey Park
  • Roath Park

This unique course structure has 4 checkpoints around Cardiff and participants have a maximum of 3 and a half hours to run. Participants can choose to start and finish their event at any checkpoint and can run to one, two or all of the checkpoints.

Distances completed will range between 5k and a Half Marathon, depending on how many checkpoints you reach, and that is completely up to you!

The course is a mix of path, road, and trail running. With both flat and undulating sections this challenge is as hard as you make it.

Live results will be available during the race as each runner will scan a QR code on their phone at each checkpoint. Times and distances will then be uploaded so you can check out how you're doing on the live leaderboard.
