Route information
A great race to see what your company is made of. The route will be a 2.5km loop in Victoria Park, starting out on the grassy section to the right of Crown Gate. There will be marshals here to guide you to the right place, so keep an eye out.
The challenge will be to run as many loops as you can in one hour, but is completely up to the individual. You can run as little as 2.5km or more than 10km depending on how you are feeling.
There will be individual results for M/F top finishers, as well as results based on most km's run by a company, top companies based on a number of finishers and more.

Car: There is no car parking in Victoria Park so if driving please plan ahead.
Tube: Mile End Underground Station
Train: Cambridge Heath/Hackney Wick Station
From Mile End Station, turn left and cross over Mile End Road. Turn right onto Grove Road – it’s about 10-15 minutes walk straight down. Alternatively, you can also walk most of the way through Mile End Park, which runs parallel to Grove Road. You will first arrive at the Crown Gates.

At what time does the City v Wharf 5k Challenge start?
The race starts at 6pm so please arrive at least 15 minutes before that and have your bib pinned to your t shirt and timing chip around your ankle ready for the start of the race

You will receive an email confirming your entry. If a friend or colleague has entered as long as they have used your email address in the entry you will receive confirmation.

Will I be chip timed?
Yes, all events (unless otherwise stated) are chip timed! In most cases you will use disposable race chips. You need to ensure you put these correctly on your shoe (race instructions will be given via email and this info is on your event information page on your event page).

Can I find the race number list prior to the event?
Yes, your event race list will be online approximately a week prior to your event. Please make a note of your race number and that of friends as you will collect your race pack on the morning of the run.

What happens if I don't receive my race email?
If you don’t receive your race email it may be because the wrong email address was entered or the race email went in to your junk mail so please check carefully. All information can be found by logging in to your user profile and your race number will show within this account area.

Can I enter a team?
Absolutely! Get as many friends, family or colleagues together and run as a team. You are not required to run together and each person will receive their own time, however it's just fun to run under a team name.

Can I run with a buggy?
Yes, this is typically OK for most locations, however please check the run route course as some locations can be a mix of path, trail, grass so not always suitable for running with a buggy. Also please try and stay to the left as much as possible to give room to other runners.

When will the awards be presented?
Please note these will be presented during the week after the event as all results will need to be assessed.
