The Copthorne Canter will take you on Canary Trail's very own Copthorne Loop. This loop will challenge all runners as it is a 10.3 mile loop with a shocking 2,100ft of ascent. This incorporates some infamous sections such as the 'Kamikaze Hill, 'Goodnight Sweetheart' and the Box Hill stepping stones as well as 'Satans Staircase.' This trail race will definitely challenge all athletes. There is also an opportunity to enter the night race to switch up the scenery or enter the 24-hour race for an ultimate challenge. In the 24-hour challenge entrants must try and do as many loops of the course within 24 hours.

There is limited parking of 50 spaces at the Mickleham Village Hall, entrants are encouraged to car share where possible.
Event day logistics
08:00 Daytime Canter and 24 hour Canter start
20:00 Night Canter starts
08:00 24 hour Canter cut-off time
- Daytime and Night Canter: all entrants must be aged 17 years or over
- 24 hour Canter: All entrants must be aged 20 years or over on race day
Registration for runners will be in waves according to their start time, arrive no earlier than 1 hour before you allotted time to allow for kit check and chip allocating. All entrants must bring the mandatory kit with them for inspection.
In the dark head torches must be worn, it is advised by the organiser that the mandatory kit is carried at all times but it is down to the racer. You must carry a Canary with you at all times, failure to do so will result in disqualification.
All entrants must bring a cup if you would like water etc from a checkpoint.

- 500ml bladder or bottles, small handheld bottle (recommended)
- A Cup for tea or coffee
- A Canary, those who do not bring a canary there will be a 'fine' of £25 payable to charity

Entrants will need the following kit for this event: headtorch for Night and 24hr Canter runners, mobile phone, silver foil blanket, 500ml bladder or bottles, small handheld bottle (recommended), a cup for tea or coffee, a Canary, those who do not bring a canary there will be a 'fine' of £25 payable to charity.
When does the Copthorne Canter start?
Both Copthorne Daytime and 24 hour races start at 8am, the Copthorne Night race will start at 8:00pm.
Is there parking available at the Copthorne Canter?
