The Cotswold Classic is a firmly established event in the local running calendar and is once again part of the Oxfordshire County 10 Mile Road Race Championship. Its a beautiful meandering route through a number of Cotswold stone villages. It's undulating with one particularly long climb known locally as the hillzakilla (total elevation gain is 518ft). There is however, a very fast finish with the last mile and a half being more or less downhill from New Yatt. Finishers will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt and a beer at the finish!

RACE PROFILE
The race is over an undulating course starting and finishing at The Kings School. There will be two water stations on the course and one at the finish area. There will be plenty of marshals on the course. Please obey their instructions at all times. Mile markers are at every mile, and a time clock at the finish.

COURSE SAFETY
The 10 mile race is run under UKA rules. Runners should adhere to instructions of marshals. As mentioned previously runners using head phones will be disqualified.
Spectators must not follow the race on bicycles, skates, scooters, motorbike or car. No dogs with runners please. There will be a lead car, and a bike or car following at the rear of the field. There is an official time limit for recording finishers of 2.5 hours, after which time the race officials and marshals will be withdrawn and any runners remaining on the course will do so at their own risk
