My first sportive and what a day it was! Course amazing and the couldnt of been more perfect. Really well organised. Big shout to the volunteers these events dont happen with our them. Definitely back next year got the bug.

This year they published results only alphabetically, whereas last year it was categorised by class and times. This meant I had no idea where I came overall or in my class. It may be to do insurance, but if they published a spreadsheet allowing competitors to sort by class then the onus would be on us not the organiser. Because there are no separate categories for electric bikes either, it didnt present a level playing field if you were going for a time. This is a great route but a lot to pay just to ride round- competitors should know it isnt timed by class and overall beforehand as it makes it a different proposition to the Fred Whitton and Lakeland Loop where you are riding for a time

This event is excellent. I have completed this event for the last three years and it is no better way to end the season of Sportives with this one. Not too difficult and not to far and great atmosphere and the scenary is quite breath taking when cycling along the lakes and climbing the hills.

It is the second year iv do this event and it is a fantastic route a very challenging 57 miles. Its best to get the legs warmed up befor the start as red bank is hard enough without having cold legs .

Fantastic route, beautiful! The first mile or so over red bank is a bit of a pull Undulating throughout but very do-able for a slow novice like me
