I’m not sure if it was for Covid reasons but the clubhouse was shut. This meant that female entrants were entirely reliant on the two public toilets - not enough for that number of runners and led to participants standing in the queue in close proximity for several minutes. There were sufficient marshals along the course and several were supportive and encouraging but there was little else in terms of support along the route.I enjoy this race and I intend to enter again but I think there should be better provision of toilet facilities.

Hi there the man at the beginning was good in was about most obsticles but didn't mention the stones at the far end. Poor marshaling only for not instructing people what side of the path to be on also not knowing what path to use when it split with grass in middle v confusing so ran on grass. Other wise good thanks

As a female I would recommend a couple of additional portaloos. It’s stressful having to wait in a long queue for the one toilet in the scout hut or the other queue for the two public toilets outside.I ran the course for the past three years and this year was challenging because of the number of children criss-crossing the course on scooters and bikes. The last half mile was really busy and it may have helped to have had some additional marshals on this stretch to politely facilitate ‘crowd control’.

Really well organised and good value race. Flat figure of 8 course - so perfect for beginners and for pbs. Head towards Kingsdown along the sea front, then turn and head back past the start towards the pier, turn for final sprint to the finish line. Well supported, great marshals. Lovely medal with the castle on it. What's not to love!?

A nice 5 mile race The course was accurate and the atmosphere good.Well hosted by the running club.Would say the medal was on the inferior side, although if there is most of the entry fee going to charity that's fine with me

Well organized.Lovely flat course.

The course is as flat as a pancake so its a good course for a fast run.For ladies who need a pre-run wee bear in mind that there is only one toilet in the main hall and two public toilets in the adjacent building.
