Take part in this fantastic Backyard Ultra event, taking place on the private land of Newnham Park come to embrace this 4.167 mile lapped route.
If you're taking part in the Backyard Ultra Event, to win you will have to be the last person standing, all others who give up will receive a DNF medal. Alternatively, if you would like to take part without having to push yourself to beat your competitors, why not take part in one of the shorter events?
There is also a Family Fun Run available for all to take part in, so what's your excuse? Come along and sign up to raise vital funds for the Bowel Cancer West charity.

Race Packs
All entrants will be provided with a full race pack with a list of compulsory and recommended equipment to bring to the event.
Fundraise and get a free entry
If you fundraise a minimum of £150 you will receive a free entry to the event. You must show proof to the organiser before starting.
Camping
This event offers free camping for all competitors in the Backyard Ultra and 100-mile distance.
First aid and Marshals*
There will be first aid available at all marshal points on the course. The marshals will be wearing hi-vis clothing.
Covid-19
This event follows all national COVID-19 guidelines and best practice design by Run Britain.
Spectator Info
Spectators are more than welcome at The Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra. There will be special parking available for all competitors.
